FAQs

Have questions? This is a short list of our most frequently asked questions about Pavers. For more information, please call 877-000-0000.

How long should pool decking last?

+

Generally, a pool deck should resurface every 10-15 years. However, it can vary depending on the location, the material, whether a stamped concrete pool deck or the like, and maintenance.

Can you tile over a pool deck?

+

Ground Settlement: Over time, the soil beneath your pool deck can shift and settle, causing the concrete to crack under pressure. This is especially common in areas with expansive soils or after heavy rains.

Does pool deck need to be bonded?

+

All metallic parts of the pool shell, coping stones, and deck, shall be bonded. The equipotential plane puts all points on the plane at an equal potential to equalize voltage and current that passes through the plane.

What material does pool decking not get hot?

+

Modified concrete overlays like acrylic lace dissipates heat a lot better than bare concrete or brick surfaces and can be easily added as resurfacing on existing pool decks, saving time and money. Acrylic lace pool decking can be easily maintained and is very durable.

Can a deck hold an above ground pool?

+

Even though above-ground pools are “standard” sizes, there is always some variation. This means adding the pool after the deck has been built could result in a pool that is in fact either too big or too small to fit in the opening you have created.
